Fairfield Behavioral Health Services is located in Winnsboro, South Carolina. Winnsboro is the county seat for Fairfield County and the largest populated area in the county. Fairfield County is located in the North Central portion of South Carolina with bordering counties; Chester on the North, Kershaw on the East, Richland on the South and Newberry on the West.

Fairfield Behavioral Health Services is a non-profit organization, which is one of 33 county alcohol and drug abuse authorities recognized by the state of South Carolina. Fairfield Behavioral Health Services' competent, licensed and certified staff is committed to providing quality service. Fairfield Behavioral Health Services provides a wide array of intervention, treatment and prevention programs.  In addition to the varied treatment approaches and programs to combat alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse, Fairfield Behavioral Health Services also prides itself on services and programs to include a fatherhood initiative, home-based counseling, childhood obesity, youth coalitions, character building, conflict resolution, violence prevention, and community education (quit smoking classes, health fairs, and public speaking engagements).
