There are many roads to recovery.  Recovery is not just an individual’s responsibility but requires support and involvement of other people and systems to improve and sustain a person’s drug free and healthy lifestyle. This idea of others helping in recovery is a national initiative being dubbed as Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC). ROSC recognizes that other than behavioral health facilities like Fairfield Behavioral Health Services, organizations like social services, law enforcement, courts, faith-based, education, insurance companies, physicians, families, support groups employers, etc. play a vital role in rebuilding the lives of individuals and their communities. Recovery is possible and does happen with hard work and support.
